In this year of 2016-17, as we celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the founding of The First Existentialist Congregation of Atlanta, we are digging deeper into our Existentialist Committment Statement, and unpacking what is meant within each component of the statement.  At the top of our committment statement, we state:   As individuals, we value Freedom and justice for everyone.  As Existentialists, we believe that each of us bears responsbility for our own actions, and that we are each free to make choices.  So how do we channel that freedom and responsbility into the actions necessary to ensure that our collective society is a place we believe to be just?

Our open mic Celebrations of Life are opportunities to share your thoughts in whatever form you wish--a story, a poem, a piece of visual art, a dance, a song--you name it.  I hope that you feel compelled to share.
